About us
We first came to North Cyprus in 1983. In common with many other people we instantly fell in love with the island and its people. We soon purchased an old ruin in Karsiyaka which we had rebuilt in traditional Cypriot style. We together with our family and friends subsequently enjoyed many happy holidays there. Of course North Cyprus was very different then to how it is today but many things do not change such as the warmth of the sun and the friendliness of the people.
We came to live here permanently in 2003 and having lived in very rural Essex decided we wanted to be to near the town for a change. We therefore chose a delightful spot in Ozankoy and built our own house by subcontracting the various trades.
We have successfully Project Managed almost 40 builds for Clients from all over the world therefore gaining a great deal of practical experience of construction in North Cyprus and how to prevent problems occurring.
We have also built our own development of 10 properties namely Karakum Cove and when this project was completed we planted 4 reclaimed olive trees in the ‘green area’ for the benefit of the residents and to save just a few of these majestic trees.
We have undertaken projects to finish houses where the clients have been badly let down by their builders and will only be offering for sale those properties from builders who are personally known to us and we have worked with before. They must have a proven track record before we will consider marketing their builds.
We can provide references from previous customers to reassure potential buyers of our integrity and honesty.
On one of our first holidays to Northern Cyprus we dined in the Altinkaya Fish Restaurant at Alsancak and from these first meetings we developed a lifelong friendship with the owners.
In 1990 the family started work on the Altinkaya 2 site on the Bellapais Road to provide holiday accommodation. Since then this complex has been constantly expanded and updated to the outstanding modern but still family-run resort it is today www.altinkaya-cyprus.comThe original fish restaurant, now known as Altinkaya 1 underwent extensive refurbishment during 2006 and the very successful ICE nightclub was built below it. This imaginative project was all masterminded and overseen by the family.
